IFTTT stands for If This Then That and allows you to connect your smart home tech, as well as lots of other tech, in never possible before combinations. The tool has now been going for over 8 years with very little competition, other than Stringify. Stringify was acquired by Comcast in September 2017 for an undisclosed sum.
