Hi Kashif, thanks for your message.

We did some research and discovered the Ring Alarm PIR sensors are indeed pet friendly! Have a read of the details here: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005073406-Pets-and-the-Ring-Alarm-Motion-Detectors

We also find the delay in UK release frustrating but sadly not uncommon. There could be a lot of reasons for it, ranging from production (as a different model is required to suit U.K. power requirements) to business – for example testing the system before rolling out internationally.

We asked Rings press team for a UK release date and the comment is in the article, at present they do not have one.

Make sure to like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter for updates as we get them.

Are the door contacts shock sensitive?

What is causing delay for UK release? I was told by Ring customer services that when the product is released, it will be released internationally at the same time. According to the article this is not true?
