The cat flap reads with the animal’s microchip or RFID tag. This allow owners to remotely monitor their cat’s activities as well as controlling access. All from the comfort of their smart phone.
The cat flap is the same size as standard cat flaps allowing owners to easily upgrade their ‘dumb’ cat flaps without additional works. The technology has been cleverly designed to support multiple cat households with custom rights. For example; if an indoor cat manages to escape via an open window it can be allowed back in but not out. The app also features real time notifications, alerting a user if the cat enters or leaves the house.
