Microsoft has joined up with Amazon to allow calling between Alexa and Skype. This integration enables Skype users to voice call any Echo device as well as video call the Echo Show. Alexa users can now also call their Skype contacts using the Skype out feature.

This feature has been rolled out globally and is available now in the UK.
To enable Skype calling on your Amazon Echo, open at the communication settings within the Alexa app.
This is an exciting integration and shows a closer relationship between tech giants Amazon and Microsoft.
